Zoe Dixon
This project revisits Zoe’s past in gymnastics, a sport that shaped her childhood and identity in profound ways. Through visual storytelling, she explores how gymnastics influenced her sense of self, her relationships, and her connection to her body now, as a young female adult. This work is a process of reflection and reckoning—acknowledging both the discipline and pressures that came with the sport.
By revisiting these experiences, Zoe aims to confront the lasting impact of gymnastics on her personal growth, friendships, and self-perception, capturing the complex interplay between nostalgia, resilience, tangible moments and the evolving relationship with her own body.
