Kai Trefgarne
Kai’s work is a collection of 3D renders and ideas that fall within the sphere of anthropologic thinking. The work approaches the experience of senselessly adjusting oneself in the hopes of controlling the image that society unknowingly imposes upon you; trying to perfectly align yourself with the person you really are, and the person others want you to be both virtually and physically in a misguided battle of self-attrition.
Can one oscillate between contentedness in their outward presentation and the belief that they are made “all wrong” forever? Will you reach a breaking point and leave your stubbornness behind, or will you wear yourself to the ground?
