this body of work began with a nightmare: the slow, uneasy act of peeling a rotten orange. The image stuck -absurd, oddly tender - and refused to let go. what followed was less a resolution and more a descent: a curious, at times uncomfortable unpacking of what lies beneath the surface of things we’d rather not touch.
drawing from personal rituals of sleeplessness and surreal logic, the work teeters between sincerity and satire. it plays with the thin line between fear and comedy, asking what happens when we take our worst thoughts seriously - and then dare to laugh at them. nothing here is quite what it seems, but everything is familiar in a way you might not want to admit.
